SUPER BOWL LXI WEEK · LOS ANGELES
Super Bowl LXI Tailgate Party and Tailgate Concert
The Tailgate Party is the NFL’s pregame party on the stadium campus on Super Bowl Sunday, built around a headline Tailgate Concert. As of October 13, 2026, the NFL had announced no Super Bowl LXI tailgate party, concert or headliner, and it banned fan tailgating at recent Super Bowls.
The NFL’s tailgate is not a Super Bowl LXI game ticket, and we found no public sale for it; for a seat at the game, see Super Bowl LXI tickets.

What is the NFL’s Super Bowl Tailgate Party?
The Tailgate Party is the NFL’s own pregame party on the stadium campus on Super Bowl Sunday, built around a headline concert. For Super Bowl LX, the NFL said Teddy Swims would play “on the expansive stadium campus at the NFL’s legendary pre-game Tailgate Party,” just outside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Sports Video Group called it “the league’s pregame party.”
The name changes with the sponsor. It was the NFL Tailgate Party in 2017 and 2019, the NFL TikTok Tailgate from 2021 to 2024, the YouTube Tailgate Concert in 2025 and the Tailgate Concert presented by NetApp in 2026. “Official NFL Tailgate Party” is the name of a StubOrder page, not an NFL product.
It is separate from the NFL’s Gameday Experience, which the league opened at 11:30 a.m. PT to Super Bowl LX ticket holders only. We found no source saying who could attend the LX Tailgate Party in person. On Location’s paid pregame hospitality is another product, covered on our pregame party page.
Can you tailgate at the Super Bowl?
No, not at recent Super Bowls. The NFL’s Super Bowl LX FAQ said tailgating was not permitted at the game or Levi’s Stadium, “including adjacent parking lots and streets,” even for ticket holders. Its Super Bowl LVII FAQ said, “Tailgating is not permitted at the Super Bowl for ticketholders or non-ticketholders.” In January 2020, the NFL said tailgating wasn’t allowed at Super Bowl LIV in Miami and that the policy wasn’t new.
When SoFi Stadium hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the Rams’ FAQ said, “Tailgating is not allowed in NFL controlled lots, including onsite parking,” and that the team would not host a tailgate party of its own that Sunday. As of October 13, 2026, no Super Bowl LXI tailgating rule had been published.
SoFi’s Hyundai Pink Zone tailgating policy covers regular-season Chargers and Rams games and doesn’t mention the Super Bowl, so don’t plan around it for February. For lots, transit and rideshare, see our Super Bowl parking guide.
Can you buy tickets to the NFL Tailgate Party?
We found no public NFL ticket sale for any recent edition. For Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in 2022, the NFL’s fan guide listed the “Tailgate party (invite only).” For Super Bowl LV in Tampa in 2021, FOX reported that 7,500 vaccinated health care workers were invited to the tailgate and the game.
At Super Bowl LVII in 2023, the NFL said the stadium campus was open only to game ticket holders and that no tickets to pregame events could be bought on game day. Listings elsewhere that use “Official NFL Tailgate” in their name are not NFL sales.
Who is playing the Super Bowl LXI Tailgate Concert?
No headliner had been announced as of October 13, 2026. For Super Bowl LX, Teddy Swims was announced in late January 2026, less than two weeks before the February 8 game, with Bay Area native LaRussell billed as the opening act.
Earlier headliners were Miley Cyrus (2021), Jason Derulo and The Black Keys (2023), Gwen Stefani (2024) and Post Malone (2025), with Zac Brown Band (2017) and Tim McGraw (2019) under the old NFL Tailgate Party name. The NFL also lists The Chainsmokers among past headliners, and ABC30 reported they took part in the TikTok tailgate on Super Bowl Sunday in 2022.
How can you watch the Super Bowl tailgate concert?
The platform changes with the sponsor, and the 2027 one hasn’t been announced. In 2026 the concert streamed on Peacock at 3:50 p.m. ET and aired on 120 iHeart stations and the iHeartRadio app. In 2025 the NFL sent viewers to its YouTube channel at 3 p.m. CT, and in 2022 the show kicked off just before noon on the NFL’s TikTok account, ABC30 reported.
Super Bowl LXI is on Sunday, February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, and SoFi’s event page still lists the time as TBA. When the NFL names a headliner or a stream, we’ll add it to our Super Bowl week schedule.

Questions
Super Bowl tailgate questions
Short answers, checked October 13, 2026.
Get help from StubOrderIs there an NFL tailgate party at Super Bowl LXI?
None has been announced as of October 13, 2026. At recent Super Bowls the NFL held a pregame Tailgate Party with a concert on the stadium campus, most recently just outside Levi’s Stadium on February 8, 2026.
Can fans tailgate in the SoFi Stadium lots on Super Bowl Sunday?
No Super Bowl LXI rule has been published, and the last time SoFi hosted, in 2022, the Rams’ FAQ said tailgating wasn’t allowed in NFL-controlled lots, onsite parking included. SoFi’s Pink Zone rules apply to regular-season games, not the Super Bowl.
Does the tailgate party include a Super Bowl LXI game ticket?
No. The Tailgate Party is a pregame event, not a seat at the game. At Super Bowl LX, the NFL’s pregame Gameday Experience admitted ticket holders only, and fans who left the fenced, secure perimeter could not come back in.
Who headlined the 2026 Super Bowl tailgate concert?
Teddy Swims headlined the Super Bowl LX Tailgate Concert presented by NetApp on February 8, 2026, with LaRussell, a Bay Area native, as the opening act. The NFL placed it just outside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
When will the Super Bowl LXI tailgate concert headliner be announced?
The NFL hasn’t said. For Super Bowl LX, news reports of the Teddy Swims booking ran on January 28 and 29, 2026, under two weeks before kickoff. We’ll update this page when the NFL names an act.
What time does the Super Bowl tailgate concert start?
The 2027 time hasn’t been announced. The Super Bowl LX stream on Peacock was set for 3:50 p.m. ET, and for Super Bowl LIX the NFL pointed fans to its YouTube channel at 3 p.m. CT.
Is StubOrder’s “Official NFL Tailgate Party” page an NFL event?
No. That is StubOrder’s page name, and StubOrder says it isn’t affiliated with the event, any venue or any box office. The page listed no dates on October 13, 2026.
What happened at the tailgate when the Super Bowl was last at SoFi Stadium?
At Super Bowl LVI on February 13, 2022, the NFL’s fan guide listed an invite-only Tailgate party at SoFi. ABC30 reported the next day that The Chainsmokers were among the stars in that day’s TikTok tailgate show.
Is the Tailgate Party the same as the Super Bowl Experience?
No. The Tailgate Party is a game-day event on the stadium campus. The Super Bowl Experience is a separate NFL fan event, covered in our Super Bowl Experience guide.
