SUPER BOWL LXI WEEK · LOS ANGELES

NFL Honors 2027: The Super Bowl LXI Week Awards Show

NFL Honors is the NFL’s annual awards show, held during Super Bowl week. As of October 13, 2026, Netflix’s NFL schedule lists the 2027 show for February 2027, streaming live on Netflix, with the date, time and location still to be announced.

NFL Honors is not a game ticket: we found no public sale for the awards show, and a seat at SoFi Stadium on February 14, 2027, takes a Super Bowl LXI game ticket.

Where to check for NFL Honors 2027 updates

Neither page showed a 2027 date or start time on October 13, 2026.

Netflix and the NFL

Our Super Bowl LXI week schedule lists the week’s events that already have dates.

When and where is NFL Honors 2027?

Neither the NFL nor Netflix had announced a date, time or venue for NFL Honors 2027 as of October 13, 2026. Netflix’s schedule page, updated September 11, 2026, places the show in February 2027 and lists the rest as TBA. The LA host committee’s February 9, 2026, handoff release names NFL Honors among the Super Bowl week events that “will take place around the Los Angeles region.”

The AP reports that the show started out airing the night before the Super Bowl and moved to the Thursday of Super Bowl week in 2022. Each show from 2022 through 2026 fell on that Thursday. That is a record of past years, not a 2027 date, and no NFL, Netflix or press source we checked gives one, so be wary of any site that prints a specific day.

How can you watch NFL Honors 2027?

NFL Honors 2027 will stream live on Netflix. Netflix confirmed the deal on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, and the wire report on it says Netflix becomes the ceremony’s exclusive broadcast partner. The AP reports that Netflix has NFL Honors through 2029 and that the move gives the show a worldwide audience. Netflix’s own schedule lists it as “Live on Netflix.”

This changes how the show reaches viewers. It traditionally aired on NFL Network and on that year’s Super Bowl network. In 2026 it aired on NBC and NFL Network and streamed on Peacock and NFL+, and a ratings report estimated 3.7 million viewers for the NBC broadcast. Netflix hasn’t posted a 2027 start time; the 2022 through 2026 shows began at 9 p.m. ET.

Can you buy NFL Honors tickets?

We found no public ticket sale for NFL Honors in any year, including 2027. The NFL does issue tickets: its NFL Honors ticket terms for Super Bowl LX call them “revocable licenses that only grant a one-time entry into the specified event,” with face value defined as “the ticket price set by NFL.” The terms don’t say who receives tickets or what they cost.

For the 2018 show in Minneapolis, the venue, Northrop at the University of Minnesota, described it as “an invite-only awards program.” The public could request free, waitlisted tickets to an outdoor red-carpet audience. On Location’s announced LXI packages, covered in our hospitality guide, mention Super Bowl Experience access but not NFL Honors.

To be at a Super Bowl week event in person, see our guides to the Super Bowl Experience and Super Bowl Opening Night, which cover how fans got in at past editions.

What awards are given at NFL Honors?

NFL Honors presents the league’s season awards in a single show, which the AP says was the reason it began in 2012. They include the Associated Press awards for Most Valuable Player, Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, Assistant Coach of the Year and Comeback Player of the Year.

The NFL’s NFL Honors page also lists the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year and the Pro Football Hall of Fame class. The Hall’s 2016 release said the class announcement headlined that year’s show on CBS. The NFL also plans an in-person celebration of its 2027 Pro Bowl class in Los Angeles; our Pro Bowl and flag football guide covers it.

Has NFL Honors been held in Los Angeles before?

Yes. When Los Angeles hosted Super Bowl LVI, the 11th NFL Honors took place on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at YouTube Theater in the SoFi Entertainment District. Keegan-Michael Key hosted, and the show aired at 9 p.m. ET on ABC, with simulcasts on ESPN+ and NFL Network. The NFL hasn’t said whether the 2027 show will return to that venue.

NFL Honors past shows: dates, venues, hosts and TV

NFL Honors is hosted from the Super Bowl city. It began in Indianapolis in 2012, aired the night before the game in its early years, and was held on the Thursday of Super Bowl week from 2022 through 2026. These are the editions we could confirm from sources.
