What is Shaq’s Fun House?
Shaq’s Fun House is a ticketed Super Bowl week party hosted by Shaquille O’Neal that mixes DJ sets and live music with a carnival and circus acts. Page Six described the 2026 edition as a “music festival meets carnival meets circus” event. O’Neal, who plays sets as DJ Diesel, said in a statement: “From day one, I wanted Shaq’s Fun House to be the party for the people.”
Medium Rare produces the party in partnership with Authentic Entertainment, according to Authentic’s January 17, 2024 release, which said it had welcomed more than 25,000 fans and celebrity guests over the years. The official site’s own title brands it for “Big Game Weekend.”
For the February 6, 2026 party, the official site said every ticket included:
- Open bar A six-hour open bar.
- Carnival rides Page Six described “a full carnival midway packed with rides, games, immersive interactive attractions and more.”
- Circus acts Circus performers alongside the music.
- Performances T-Pain, Tiësto, Disco Lines and DJ Diesel, O’Neal’s stage name, “& more.”
When and where is Shaq’s Fun House 2027?
Neither the date nor the venue has been announced. When we checked on October 13, 2026, the official site still promoted the 2026 party at the Cow Palace and said nothing about 2027, Los Angeles or Super Bowl LXI. It posted no 2027 lineup or ticket prices either.
Past parties fell on the Friday of Super Bowl week: February 11, 2022 in Los Angeles, February 9, 2024 in Las Vegas, February 7, 2025 in New Orleans and February 6, 2026 in the Bay Area. That is history, not a 2027 schedule. The venue has changed each year, from the Shrine Auditorium to a Las Vegas nightclub and the Cow Palace arena.
Our Super Bowl LXI week schedule lists the events that have been announced so far.
What was Shaq’s Fun House like in Los Angeles in 2022?
The last Los Angeles edition took over the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall, 665 W. Jefferson Blvd., on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. LA Mag’s January 5, 2022 preview billed it as “Shaq’s Fun House Presented by FTX,” with Lil Wayne, Zedd and Diplo performing.
LA Mag said each ticket tier was all-inclusive, covering food, an open bar, attractions and performances. Food came from Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles, Pink’s Hot Dogs and Diddy Riese, plus carnival treats such as cotton candy, popcorn and funnel cakes. Guests had to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to get in.
LA Mag reported that tickets started at $249.99 for a limited time, with prices set to rise closer to the date. VIP tickets started at $999.99 and added Shaq’s VIP Lounge with seating, KazuNori sushi, a fast-track entrance lane and VIP open bars.
How much do Shaq’s Fun House tickets cost?
There are no 2027 prices yet, and the official site showed no prices when we checked. For past editions, LA Mag reported tickets from $249.99 in Los Angeles in 2022, and Authentic’s release listed $99.99, “in very limited quantities,” in Las Vegas in 2024. In New Orleans in 2025, WWNO reported general admission at $299.99.
VIP has cost much more. It started at $999.99 in 2022, per LA Mag, and in 2025 WWNO listed VIP at $1,099.99–$1,499.99 and bottle-service tables at $7,500–$50,000. Authentic’s 2024 release described three tiers: general admission, VIP open bar tickets and VIP tables.
Recent editions have been for adults. A February 2023 azfamily preview called the Scottsdale party “a 21+ event,” and Authentic’s 2024 release called the Las Vegas party “a 21-and-over event.” No 2027 age policy is published.
How is Shaq’s Fun House different from other Super Bowl parties?
It is sold to the public rather than run as an invite-only party. Before the 2026 edition, O’Neal said, “A lot of Big Game events feel like they are only for VIPs,” adding, “At my party, you buy a ticket.” That ticket has covered the open bar, the rides and the shows.
Its producer works on other Super Bowl weekend events. Medium Rare created Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate with Guy Fieri, a free event on Super Bowl Sunday, and co-produced SI The Party, which used the Cow Palace on Saturday, February 7, 2026, the night after Shaq’s Fun House.

Headliners are as billed before each party, and presenting sponsors have changed from year to year.
