Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate 2027: What We Know
Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate is a food and music party that Guy Fieri and producer Medium Rare held on Super Bowl Sunday each year from 2023 to 2026, with free general admission. As of October 13, 2026, no 2027 or Los Angeles edition had been announced, and the official FAQ still described the 2026 event.

Medium Rare bills the tailgate as free “for 15,000+ fans,” while the 2026 FAQ capped free admission at the first 10,000 attendees.
What is Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate?
It is a Super Bowl Sunday food and music party with free general admission. Medium Rare, the producer, says it “partnered with Guy Fieri to create” the event and describes “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives restaurant pop-ups” alongside Fieri’s own culinary concepts and musical performers. It bills the tailgate as “a FREE event on Big Game Sunday for 15,000+ fans.”
ABC15 reported Diplo and LoCash for the 2023 edition in Glendale, Ariz., and KTNV listed Dustin Lynch and Diplo for Las Vegas in 2024. Medium Rare also produces Shaq’s Fun House, and in 2026 both events used the Cow Palace.
It is not the NFL’s tailgate. At recent Super Bowls the league has held its own pregame Tailgate Party and concert on the stadium campus, covered on our Super Bowl tailgate concert page.
Is there a Flavortown Tailgate for Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles?
Nothing has been announced. On October 13, 2026, the tailgate’s FAQ still described “Big Game Sunday 2026” in the Bay Area, and Medium Rare’s event page made no mention of 2027 or Los Angeles.
Super Bowl LXI is on Sunday, February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. Past locations are no guide to a 2027 site. The tailgate has used a lot across from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, a spot behind The LINQ in Las Vegas, Mardi Gras World in New Orleans and the Cow Palace in Daly City. Is the Flavortown Tailgate free?
General admission has been free, but a free ticket did not guarantee entry. The 2026 FAQ said “free tickets are not guaranteed” and that “only the first 10,000 attendees will be granted admission.” Registration was required in earlier years too: online in Glendale in 2023, in Las Vegas in 2024 and in advance in New Orleans in 2025.
Paid tiers sat on top of the free tickets. In 2026 they were Taste of Flavortown, VIP and Guy’s Platinum VIP, and each promised guaranteed access; VIP added a four-hour open bar. In New Orleans in 2025, WWNO reported Taste of Flavortown tickets at $49.99 and VIP at $349.99 to $799.99. No 2027 prices have been published.
In 2026, VIP tickets could be bought for anyone 13 or older, but guests had to be 21 or older to drink alcohol.
Is the Flavortown Tailgate at the stadium, and do you need a game ticket?
Not always, and the 2026 edition didn’t require a game ticket. In 2023 it was at 9191 Cardinals Way, in the lot across the street from State Farm Stadium. In 2026 it was in the Cow Palace parking lot at 2600 Geneva Ave. in Daly City, while the NFL’s Super Bowl LX campus was at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
The 2026 FAQ said, “No, a Super Bowl ticket is not required to attend the Flavortown Tailgate!” It also said the event would end at 3:30 p.m. PT “before the big game kicks off.” In 2026, parking at the Cow Palace could be bought online in advance or paid on-site.

No date had been announced as of October 13, 2026. The 2023 to 2026 editions were all held on Super Bowl Sunday, and Super Bowl LXI is Sunday, February 14, 2027, but the organizer hasn’t said whether there will be a 2027 tailgate.
Will Guy Fieri bring the Flavortown Tailgate to Los Angeles?
There is no official word. When we checked on October 13, 2026, neither the tailgate’s own site nor Medium Rare’s page mentioned Los Angeles or 2027.
Is Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate free?
Yes, general admission has been free, with paid upgrades. A free ticket was a registration rather than a promise of a spot: the 2026 FAQ capped free admission at the first 10,000 attendees.
Do kids need a ticket for the Flavortown Tailgate?
Not in 2026. The FAQ let children 12 and under in without a ticket and guaranteed them general admission. For New Orleans in 2025, WWNO reported that children under 13 wouldn’t need a ticket.
Do you need a Super Bowl ticket to attend?
No. The 2026 FAQ said a game ticket wasn’t required and that all ages were welcome. It doesn’t get you into the game either: the 2026 tailgate closed at 3:30 p.m. PT, before kickoff.
How much were Flavortown Tailgate VIP tickets?
For the 2025 New Orleans edition, WWNO reported VIP tickets at $349.99 to $799.99 and Taste of Flavortown at $49.99. The 2026 FAQ named the paid tiers but listed no prices, and no 2027 prices have been published.
